Love reds?

The giveaway is closed and the winner has been notified.

 
Happy Wednesday!
It is one month until quilt market so I am glad this giveaway is 
winding down. I will not have even a spare moment to read all 
the nice comments that you have taken the time to 
post over the past month as the hectic pace of the show grows.

So without further ado,

    Favorite colors can change when a special fabric catches your eye. I do love the autumn colors in Michigan, they just feel rich. I would love to have the reds to finish a blue and white block swap that I participated in a few years ago. I have been creating the quilt in my mind for some time. thanks.

    It's seasonal. So orange is my fav right now. But red is always compelling from December through February.

    I dont have a favorite color at the moment. I would love to win this beautiful fabric. I go to church with a lady who has glaucoma and can barely see and her favorite color is red. This would be perfect for het babscorbitt@ gmail dot com

    My favorite color has recently changed from blue/violet to red. I was always a cool colors gal until I overdosed on them. Now I like hot colors--red, orange, etc.

    I have had a goal to make a red and white quilt ever since I saw online the amazing quilts that were displayed in NY. Such a dramatic color and I think it goes with everything. I do think red must be my favorite, since I like to wear red too :-)

    How can you not like the color red? It is a very striking color and does remind you of Christmas, which is not too far away.     My favorite color is robin egg blue, but there are only so many quilts one can finish in this color. Reds and browns are so much more versatile for quilting. And red is the color I am always in need of more so I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one!

    I don't have one favorite color. I like different colors for different purposes, such as decorating, clothing, quilting. Over all I like the deep rich jewel tones the best.

    My favorite quilt color is red...but you must be careful what you pair it with. I love it with cheddars...that was my last quilt and I love it. Also, it looks great with browns. And we all know how fabulous it looks with white and cream in a two color quilt. OK enough said....I need to go find some red fabric in my stash to ponder over. soardkgatfusedotnet

    My favorite color is purple! However, I am making a red, white and black quilt at the moment. I love all color - you should see my house. It's not garish, but I have painted many of the rooms different colors, including red! I could never make just a white and beige quilt although I have seen some very pretty ones. Also, I would never wear just black or beige every day, no matter how chic! I need color! Thanks for the opportunity!

    Teal is my favorite color, but I LOVE reds. I just bought a bunch of the midwinter red material from Minick & Simpson, have some big plans for that material!

    Who doesn't love red?! I do! I would love a chance to win the red fabrics. Part of them would go in my stash and others would go for ongoing projects. You can't be a quilter if you don't have ongoing projects waiting to be worked on again. Especially Christmas projects that were meant for two years ago.

    All shades of green. But most especially that certain of green that most of my quilting buddies take one look at and run screaming in the other direction - poison green. I make sure they get some of that 'Karen green' in any swaps they we regularly exchange. Ha ha!
