As you read in my last post, it is time for the next schnibbles project. I am a Carrie Nelson groupie if there ever was one. I already own all of her schnibbles patterns. In fact, I buy 2 of every charm pack in anticipation of what Carrie may create with any given collection. Come on, confess, I am not the only one that does this.
I keep the charm packs all nicely lined up with the pattern neatly inserted through the charm packs band. The stack in the background are charm packs that have not yet been assigned to a pattern. I do have a few patterns that I missed out on getting the featured charm packs. those are the patterns in the back corner of the picture below.
SO this month it is Summer Day and this just so happens to be one of the patterns that I didn't have the strawberry fields charm packs. There could also be a good possibility that I had them but used them for something else.
friendship
ReplyDeleteI vote for friendship. BTW when are you ever going to make all of those quilts?
ReplyDeleteWell, I know I'll be the odd man...er...woman out, but I think it should be a scrappy combination of all three. I love quilts made with a single collection, I'm making one right now for my 13 year old grand daughter with Bonnie and Camilles Ruby. BUT, I am a big fan of scrappy and I think it would be fun to mix it up!!! Hugs...
ReplyDeleteI think you should use Friendship. I really like that line and am looking forward to making something with it.
ReplyDeleteI think Friendship is the one.
ReplyDeleteSuch a clever way to store your charm square collection! I vote for Blueberry Crumb Cake.
ReplyDeleteInitially I thought Etchings, but the small scale prints of Friendship will work well for the small flying geese.
ReplyDeleteI love stacked patterns and charm packs. Is that a dish rack?
My vote is for Friendship. It looks like it would be fun to use this collection for your Schnibbles pattern. I like Blueberry Crumb Cake, but I think it might be to pale for this pattern.
ReplyDeleteI vote for blueberry crumb cake as a first choice and etchings as a 2nd choice.
ReplyDeleteI love the Blueberry Crumb Cake. Those Schnibbles are very addicting.
ReplyDeleteOooh, Etchings! And a nice cup of tea to go with them!
ReplyDeleteFriendship looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteEtchings is so pretty. I love all the 3 Sisters fabric, such beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteVoto 3 irmãs.Feliz Páscoa!!!!
ReplyDeleteChoose Etchings, it has such a nice pallete.
ReplyDeleteI love Three Sister's and thier Etchings is gorgeous but...I own me some of that Friendship line and it is truely yummy! I would have to go with that one.
ReplyDeleteFriendship all the way!
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'm in the majority-I vote for Friendship too!
ReplyDeleteOh my there is no decision to make use the friendship line. It's awesome! Ok I am a carrie groupie too someday I hope to make all the schnibbles too. Love how you store them what a great idea Kathie
ReplyDeleteEtchings, subtle and timeless with a splash of the deep red
ReplyDeleteFriendship!
ReplyDeleteI think Friendship would make that pattern really pop!LOVE your dish-drainer for charm-pack storage!
ReplyDeleteBlueberry Crumb Cake! I love that line!!
ReplyDeleteI love bluberry crumbcake..soet of patriotic.
ReplyDeleteI love Etchings and it would be so fun to see that quilt done in a deeper tone than what is on the pattern. I'm also curious - who are the 3 Sisters that design this? They are never in moda blog hops, don't have a blog etc. Is the 3 Sisters line designed by sisters,1 person? I've been dying to know.
ReplyDeleteI love Friendship, but think this particular pattern would be great in Blueberry Crumb Cake. Blueberry Crumb Cake!
ReplyDeleteI would go with Friendship. Love your orginization!
ReplyDeleteI would also go for Friendship the top red square made my mind up.Blueberry Crumb cake would be my second choice.
ReplyDeleteYou've got to go with Friendship, it has the variety this pattern needs!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see this pattern in Etchings. It will be fun to see which one you pick. And yes, I buy 2 charms packs of the lines I like with the plan to use them for a Schnibble.
ReplyDeleteEven though I like all 3 choices, I'd use Friendship for this pattern.
ReplyDeleteI choose etchings for a springlike soft romantic quilt. I haven't decided which charms I'm going to use yet, but I don't have charm packs of etchings or blueberry crumb cake.
ReplyDeleteI like Friendship. I love RED! I made her X-Rated, and turned it from a 31" square quilt into a full sized quilt. Love that quilt.
ReplyDeleteI like Blueberry Crumb.
ReplyDeleteI cast my vote for Friendship. They are all pretty, but this one has the smaller prints that would look great in the flying geese.
ReplyDeleteFriendship ! Hands down, this one speaks summer to me...the others are beautiful but have more of a winter feel to them.
ReplyDeleteBlueberry CRUMBCAKE!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the way you've got these charm packs set up! Another great Lissa-idea!
Your storage idea is great! Love that! I would use 'Friendship'. But, really any of them would be nice.
ReplyDeleteMarsha
Definitely Friendship. Great idea on pattern storage!
ReplyDeleteEtchings.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Great idea on storage!
Hmmm, I think I would love to see the quilt made up in Blueberry Crumb Cake! There is really no wrong answer is there???
ReplyDeleteoh cool, this information is really useful and definately is comment worthy! hehe.
ReplyDeleteI’ll see if I can try to use some of this information for my own blog.
