  2. You go Stacey! I read all the posts, but couldn't answer all the questions without going back and forth to find the answers to the questions I don't remember. Unfortunately, I have to go to work and don't have enough time. Congratulations to all the winners and also to all the designers. Y'all are all super! Hats off to Moda for all you do for your designers, customers, and various charities. That's one of many reasons why you stand out from the rest. Thank you for a really fun blog hop.

  6. Too many questions for a final. I have enjoyed the pillow thing immensly. It was fun to get to know the designers of my favorite fabrics. Moda is #1. You have stiff competition out there, but with such great designers, you will always be #1. Thanks for that. The quality of the fabric is one of the reasons I continue to sew with Moda.

  7. Ditto all of the above LoL - I have loved meeting all the designers, reading all of the answers to your insightful questions - were there a couple who did not post their answers? and I have left a comment for each. I guess I am selective to what information I retain now that my mind is full of what new Moda line to buy, what quilt to create, pattern to select, stash to add to, how to help the independent quilt shops stay in business, what quilts to donate to charity. Thank you for the opportunity to get to know everyone a little better. It was a most enjoyable pillow hop. Judy C

  9. I followed along and read, but I simply don't have the time to go back and re-read to answer the questions. :o) Thanks Moda for all of the fun blogs, giveaways, etc.!! Your fabric is the best!!!

  10. I too have read each and every designer's blog -- but I only know a few of the answers off the top of my head. I totally enjoyed learning about each of the designers -- it has given me a new perspective on their fabric collections. It is not just "fabric" now -- it is a window into the eye of an artist. Thank you all for sharing!

  11. I went to the blogs daily to read what was being said and to look at all the wonderful pillows. There was no way though that I would have memorized details :) I do have a life you know away from blogs. I do not have the time to go back to the blogs to read them again and search for the answers.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I read all of the posts (and then some), but my very full brain doesn't remember all the answers. I will answer one question, though. Sandy Gervais painted a picture for each day of the blog hop. I so appreciated her support for the activity and was blessed by hearing the kind words that she had for each of her fellow designers. The Moda designers are an amazing, talented, and diverse group - No wonder the fabric is tremendous.
Thanks, Lissa, for instigating the blog hop. It's the first time that I have participated, but, hopefully, not the last.

  27. Oh my gosh! I read every word of every post and enjoyed it soooo much. Matter of fact, my hubby had to 'beg' me for some computer time for himself I was on it so long every morning. This was a really, really fun blog hop Lissa, Thank you so much for giving us all little glimpses of the designers we love so much. Now, because I'm having a 'Senior Moment' I can't answer all 20 question without going back to every blog but I will answer those that I can remember off the top of my little gray head...

  59. Oh my gosh, I started going back through all the links to find all the answers and then decided to scroll down to see how many questions there were and saw your note. LOL BUT, I totally agree with the last question/answer!!!!!!

the Moda designers are THE BEST! I'm new to following fabric designers and have to admit that all my purchases so far except for one have been from Moda designers. I think the one thing that got me to start purchasing instead of just reading and wishing was that someone who'd won the online quilting class being done by the Missouri Quilt Company was super sweet and gifted that to me. It's been a great class and she uses charm packs in her class so I started buying them and I LOVE the Moda charms the most and actually ALL the charm packs I've bought to date have all been from Moda. Thanks for such a great blog hop. I had fun reading more about all the wonderful designers and learning more about each of them. You sure can't get that type of stuff about who designed your fabrics from the box stores. ;) Thanks again.

Thank you again for keeping me entertained and providing new ideas. Lisa in Texas

  147. I loved this pillow blog hop! It was so much fun reading about the people I read their blogs of everyday, but then to be introduced to some new blogs was even better!! (like I really need to add to my daily blog list...lol). Anyway, Moda has some amazing, and I mean amazing designers on their team! They inspire me constantly in my quest to CREATE. They help me to act on a passion of mine. They add joy to my life, as I am able to make something for people that I love so much out of their art.

    Thank you.

  148. Gee Whizz. I should have read the whole blog FIRST! I was searching out the answers when I couldn't remember each one but I did get quite a lot of them myself. Thanks Debbie! I haven't enough time to get every one. This blog hop made Feb. so much better. All the snow we've had this month just would disappear from my thoughts when I'd flip on the computer and read a while. Please do this again - in the dead of winter was perfect timing!

But I checked in on several to see what was going on. Can't wait for another blog hop with Moda. Thanks!

  151. I did read all the posts every day, and checked on the lovely little paintings too. Each of your questions reminded me of what I'd read... but nope, couldn't recall the answers! Really enjoyed it though, and it's inspired me to make a pillow (or cushion as we'd call it in the UK). My sister has now decided that she, her two daughters and her husband (no, he doesn't sew!) are each going to make a pillow for their living room! Now that's going to be fun. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  152. I read all the posts, some if them more than once, and I loved them! It was really neat to get "a face" (or two) connected with the designers. Their answers vere often very entertaininng and the pillow designs were really awesome! Thanks for many hours of fun reading and thanks a bunch for all the goodies that we could "post to win" - that was a great touch! I also loved the free pillow design that were given to us by Kathy Schmitz. That one is now in my "to-do-hopefully-some-day-soon" pattern pile now!

  165. This was lots of fun! I found quite a few new blogs to try and follow... time, time, time! We need more. I actually had a good answer for #18. I have a degree in Construction Management and have used the drafting program AutoCAD more than once to "draft" and design a quilt! Someday my office will laugh and scratch their heads when they go thru all the old floorplans and find a few quilts mixed in! :) Ha, Ha!

  167. Wow! Look at how many of you have all of the answers! I had fun with the Hop too :) I was hoping for a little dish . . . woo! Those "nekkid" toes were almost too much for me. And Polly & Laurie have great taste in bedroom furniture (and PJ's). Sandy Gervais' tiny paintings are awesome and I just can't say enough wonderful things about all of the Moda designers! There are certainly other lovely fabrics (and fabric companies too, surely) but Moda has always been my first choice in fabric. It is the standard by which I hold all others - not that I'm an industry pro - I'm just your everyday kind of fabriholic!!! My note on all ya'll's pillows would say "Thanks for a great time!" Ha ha!! XOXO
